Race 1

The first mishap of this Race 1 took place from the gridding leaving Jouffret / Trémoulet (Vic Team #64 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) and Lamic.P / Lamic.JP (Vic Team #54 - Ginetta G55) blocked at the red light at the end of the pit lane.

The incident forced Olivier Jouffret, brilliantly qualified in second position in the morning, and Paul Lamic, contender for the title AM, to leave at the back of the pack.

Author of the pole position, Max Braams (Las Moras Racing Team # 99 - McLaren 570 S) kept the lead in front of Frédéric Johais (BMW Team France #9 - BMW M4 EKRIS) qualified sixth.

Max Koebolt (Ekris Motorsport #888 - BMW M4 EKRIS) quickly took second place

Starting fourth, Consani (Speed Car #8 - Ginetta G55) raised himself at the second place, he then has a good lead over his main rival for the title.

A technical alert on the Ginetta Speed Car came to reshuffle the cards after the driver changes.Benjamin Lariche (Speed Car #8 - Ginetta G55) resisted as long as he could but saw, in his mirrors swell Parisy (CD Sport #30 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR), who took over from Vannelet.

At the start of the last lap, the Ginetta G55 was in fourth place with the Porsche Cayman huddled in its exhausts. The duel rose a notch in the straight line of the Mistral where Lariche, under pressure, cut the chicane and ogmenting his lead against Parisy.

Both cars crossed the line in this order but the penalty was not slow to fall.the Ginetta # 8 received a two-second penalty for gaining an advantage by not respecting the track limits.

In front, Duncan Huisman (Las Moras Racing Team # 99 - McLaren 570 S) concluded the work begun by Braams.Piguet / Johais (BMW Team France #9 - BMW M4 EKRIS) took the second place ahead of Jouffret / Trémoulet (Vic Team #64 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR).

In AM, Stéphane Tribaudini (CMR #111 - Ginetta G55) took a big step towards the title of the category by signing a new victory with his teammate Michaël Petit

Race 2

Consequence of the penalty of the previous day Vannelet / Parisy (CD Sport #30 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) and Consani / Lariche (Speed Car #8 - Ginetta G55) are tie with 128 points.

The pole man, Julien Piguet (BMW Team France #9 - BMW M4 EKRIS) managed to keep his property at the start, while Mike Parisy (CD Sport #30 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) was quicker than Duncan Huisman (Las Moras Racing Team #99 - McLaren 570 S) and took second place.

The advantage of the CD Sport driver will be short-lived.

Further, Benjamin Lariche, who started 10th, was uncomfortable in the first corner when Soheil Ayari (CMR #26 - Ginetta G55) and Morgan Moullin-Traffort (CD Sport #31 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) had a collision in front of him. Lariche was backing out of the points but he was now driving a damaged car on the front left.

At that moment, the drivers' championship seemed to switch to the CD Sport camp. But it was written that this 2017 campaign would remain indecisive until the end.

In delicacy with his car, Parisy (CD Sport #30 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) clung to the Top 10 because he had imperatively to register points to claim the title. In case of zero points of the two cars competing for the crown, Benjamin Lariche and Robert Consani (Speed Car #8 - Ginetta G55) would have the advantage to the number of wins.

Gilles Vannelet (Speed Car #8 - Ginetta G55) took over from Parisy and succeeded in competing with his direct rivals.

In front, Piguet (BMW Team France #9 - BMW M4 EKRIS) closed his opening relay in the lead without widening the gap compared to Huisman (Las Moras Racing Team #99 - McLaren 570 S) and Van der Ende (Ekris Motorsport #888 - BMW M4 EKRIS).

Braams (Las Moras Racing Team # 99 - McLaren 570 S) controlled the second half of the race and signed a second ranking success.

Hassid-Palette (Martinet By Almeras #18 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR) took a good second place, while Koebolt-Van der Ende (Ekris Motorsport #888 - BMW M4 EKRIS) completed the Top 3.

Piguet-Johais (BMW Team France #9 - BMW M4 EKRIS) finished fourth, just ahead of Parisy-Vannelet (CD Sport #30 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR), finally fifth and new French Champions FFSA GT.

Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche finished ninth with the Ginetta Speed Car #8 after a good catching up in the peloton. The team Speed Car won the Pro-Am crown in the Teams championship. In AM, Stéphane Tribaudini (CMR #111 - Ginetta G55) won the title of FFSA GT French Champion. Already winners of Race 1 Saturday at the Circuit Paul Ricard, the new champion and his teammate Michaël Petit reiterated such a performance during the Sunday race.

My favorite of the Week End

My favorite of the Week end, is the fighting spirit came down to Olivier Jouffret-Éric Trémoulet (Vic Team #64 - Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR).

After their initial misadventure, the Vic'Team pair relentlessly worked hard and signed a spectacular comeback punctuated by a superb third place.

I was on the balconies of the circuit, in front of the timing structure of the Vic Team, and the enjoyment of the crew was also intense, even more, as that of the winners.
