Hamilton receives the Sports Personality of the Year Award 2020

Sunday was a day set aside by BBC Sports to congratulate sportspeople who excelled in the different sporting activities for the year 2020. Lewis Hamilton, Marcus Rashford, and Jurgen Klopp were the winners and highlights of the event.

After winning it back in 2014, Hamilton won the award by leading the overall votes ahead of Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson and racing ambassador Hollie Doyle.

Hamilton won his seventh F1 title this year, currently on par with Michael Schumacher on the all-time championship list.

Red Bull sign Sergio Perez for the 2021 Season

Red Bull Racing announced that they had signed Sergio Perez to race alongside Max Verstappen for the new F1 season. Perez would replace Alex Albon in the race seat, who will still stay as the team's reserve driver.

The replacement came after Albon failed to secure his position with his lackluster performance within his 18 months with the team.

They acquired the signature of Perez because of the spectacular season he had. Added to his achievements, he won the Sakhir Grand Prix this year.

His former team, Racing Point, decided to sign Sebastian Vettel on a three-year deal to partner with Lance Stroll. This decision would have led to the displacement of Perez from the racing seat. But Red Bull came to his rescue, so he'll race in Formula 1 next season.

Formula 1 Races Competition

There are different types of competitions available on the races, such as the H3H Competition, Win Competition, First Lap Driver Competition, and Over/Under Competitions. Making the right one all depends on the expertise and knowledge of F1 by the competitor.

Players stand a chance to win as represented by the odds when betting on F1 races. To increase the probability of winning, they are placed based on the player's forecast and how abreast they are with the latest F1 updates and other technicalities. For one, experienced ones observe car features, driver records, and the weather of the race.

They can also enjoy the numerous bonuses (100% up to $2.500) on the best topical sites and get motivated to win big. Bookies like Paddy Power and Bellray let players claim free bets, offering up to £100.

Daniil Kvyat’s replacement confirmed

The AlphaTuri team confirms that 20-year-old Yuki Tsunoda would replace Daniil Kvyat for the 2021 season. This replacement would see Tsunoda become the new driving partner of Pierre Gasly.

Tsunoda was F2’s rookie of the year, with a third position finish at the championship. The decision to sign him surfaced after he drove wonderfully for them in the young driver test at Abu Dhabi.

Where next for Kvyat? He may now return as an F1 test driver in any team, with a possible return to the grid in 2022.

Jost Capito is Williams Racing's Chief Executive Officer

His announcement comes immediately after the team signed Simon Roberts as the Principal. Capito previously served as McLaren's Chief Executive in 2016 and has accumulated lots of experience from motorsports earlier in his life.

Capito will officially join the team in February 2021. He will supervise and control the daily activities of the company.

Williams' chairman Matthew Savage has acknowledged Capito as an experienced, competitive individual who'll contribute a lot to the team. Perhaps, this is a start to great things at Williams.
