Hello everyone, after a long winter break, I'm back on RSC for a new races cars season.
For the first act of 2016, I returned to Barcelona that was my last trip in 2015 for the International Open GT final.
For this resumption, I went following the season’s opening round of the 2016 VdeV Endurance Championship.
Created in 1992 by Eric Van de Vyver, this championship includes several endurance races and sprint using modern and historic vehicles.

This meeting includes 8 races, a 4 hours race, on Saturday, for the GT/LMP3 and a 6 hours race, on Sunday, for prototypes and 3 races of 20 minutes each for CN Sprint and Formula.
4 Hours of Endurance (saturday)
We can split the race into two categories, the GT and the prototypes.
The category prototype/PFV (Prototype Fermé VdeV, Closed VdeV Prototype) saw the victory of the trio David Hallyday, David Droux and Dino Lunardi behind the wheel of the Ligier JS P3 #36 of Duqueine Engineering’s team. Came to Spain to complete the preparation for the GT Tour (French Championship), they sign their first victory after 119 laps and a start from last place to have failed the qualify. The beginning of the race was dominated by the Ligier #13 of Inter Europol Competition drove by Smiechoski/Hippe and that of Graff #10 Trouillet/Petit/Guibbert, but also by the Ginetta G57 #50 of Simpson Motorsport Jones/Fleming/Sharpe registered PFV. The victory was decided in the last hour when the Ligier JS P3 #36, after a patient race took the lead for pass under the checkered flag with 25 seconds ahead of the ligier JS P3 #13.
The third place will be s after a sustained battle by Ginetta G57 #55 0 " 173 in front of the Ligier JS P3 #10.
Then follow the Ginetta G57 #57 Team LNT of Tomlinson/Simpson and Ligier JS P3 #14 Be Motorsport of Pardo/Bakker/Castillo.

In the GT category is the defending champion, the Ferrari 458 GT2 #1 Visiom Jean-Paul Pagny, Thierry Perrier and Jean-Bernard Bouvet who won. The battle was tough because it was only at the last refueling that Bouvet overtook the Ferrari 458 GT3 #51 AF Corse Cordoni/Zanuttini. AB Sport Auto then completes the top three with his Renault R.S. 01 #45 entrusted to Proust/Thybaud/Jousse before the Audi R8 LMS ultra Team Speed Car #4 Deguffroy/Collado/Buffin.
In GTV2 class the victory is for the RMS with the Porsche 991 Cup #56 (13th overall) of Bachelor/Mallegol/Blank winner as a gentleman and Solution F in S1 class with Charriol/Rayneri/Silva, associated on the SF V8 #96 (19th overall)

6 Hours V de V Endurance Proto (Sunday)
TFT placed his Norma M20 FC #8 in pole position, but because of the beginning of fire during the starting grid lap, the trio Capillaire/Lacoste/Robert could not defend his chances. However, the team will taste the victory with Norma M20 FC #2 entrusted to Ander Vilarino, Alain Ferte and Philippe Illiano.
Slick or wet tires? That is the question. The track still partially wet.
The track conditions and the options chosen by the different teams gave a relentless and pleasant race. It is only at 90 minutes of the term that Ander Vilarino in the Norma M20 FC #2 took definitely the lead of the race to finish ahead of the Norma M 20 FC #40 of Palmyr Team of Mondolot/Zollinger/Thuner. The podium being completed by the crew of the Ligier JS 53 Evo 2 # 17 of IDEC Sport Racing composed of Dimitri Enjalbert and Bernard Delhez outstripping the other Ligier JS 53 Evo 2 of IDEC Sport Racing #15 of F. Da Rocha/N. Da Rocha/Delomier, so gaining victory in category Prestige.
