Back to Barcelona
The final of International Open GT will have been my last report of 2016, the winter tests the first of 2017.
It was under the sun that these two days of tests took place.
Eight sessions, divided into four sessions of 55 minutes each day, alternating with the euroformula open. What was the program of these two days
Six manufacturers were represented, Lamborghini (Huracan GT3), BMW (M6 GT3), Audi (R8 LMS Ultra), Porsche (991 GT3 Cup), Bentley (Continental GT3) and Ferrari (488 GT3, 458 GT3, 458 Challenge and one 458 GT2).

Twelve squads had traveled to Catalonia Team Teo Martín (BMW), SF Racing, AF Corse, Spirit of Race, Stile F Squadra Corse, FF Corse, Kessel Racing (all with Ferrari), Jordan Racing (Bentley), Raton Racing, FFF Racing (Lamborghini), Drivex School (Audi) and PRO GT by Alméras (Porsche).

Friday
DAY 1 on Friday ended with a quartet at the top within less than 4 tenths: best lap time for the day was for Andrea Caldarelli (SF Ferrari 488 GT3 (1.45.819)), followed by Vito Liuzzi (FFF Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (1.45.945)), Jesse Krohn (Teo Martin BMW M6 GT3 (1.46.072)) and Marco Cioci (AF Ferrari 488 GT3 (1.46.190)).
The Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 caught fire while driven by Olivier Beretta, enduring fatal damage, but the team could continue working with a spare-car.

Saturday
DAY 2 on Saturday saw the SF Racing Ferrari of Andrea Caldarelli and Songyang Fu repeating itself for most of the day, despite losing its best time (1.44.115), posted in Session 6, for having cut the chicane slightly.
In the last session, great battle for the best time, with Edoardo Liberati (Ratón racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3) taking the advantage (1.45.257) over Liuzzi (1.45.416), Caldarelli (1.45.554), Cioci (1.45.608) and Krohn (1.45.726).
These were also the best times of the entire 2-day test.
