



Bronze test
On this Friday 25th in the late morning took place, over a period of 30 minutes, the bronze test.
In LMP2 it was the Graff who realised the best time in 1: 56.346 with the car #39 followed by the DragonSpeed #21, both on Oreca 07 - Gibson.
In LMP3 the top of the timesheet was the possession of the Norma M 30 #7 of Duqueine Engineering.
In the LMGTE, the Ferrari 458 Italia #66 of JMW Motorsport was awarded the fastest lap of this session.




Free practice session 1
At 15:00 there were 35 cars for the first practice session.
Nicolas Lapierre (Oreca 07 Gibson #21 / Dragonspeed) was the fastest with a time of 1m54.234. The top 5 separated by less than 1 second.
It was on the 13th position that we found the first LMP3, in this particular case the Ligier Nissan #15 of the RLR MSport led by Alex Kapadia in front of another Ligier Nissan, #6 of 360 Racing and Norma M 30 #19 of the M.Racing-YMR respectively 14th and 15th averall.
Andrea Bertolini on the Ferrari F488 #51 of the Spirit of Race ahead of Nicki Thiim (Aston Martin Vantage #90 of TF Sport), the second Aston Martin Vantage V8 (Beechdean AMR #99) driven by Ross Gunn hang on the third position in 2m06.936.






Free practice session 2
Bis repetita this Saturday morning for the Dragonspeed, Nicolas Lapierre and the Oreca 07 Gibson #21 that we found on the first row of the timesheet with a time of 1m53.546.
The top three consisted of three distinct manufacturers with the Dallara P217 #27 of the SMP Racing second and the Ligier JSP217 #32 of the third United Autosports.
In LMP3 we found in front of the United Autosports with the Ligier JS P3 #3 followed by the Norma M 30 #19 of M.Racing - YMR and another Ligier JS P3 the #9 that of AT Racing. As in LMP2 three different manufacturers are in the top three places of the category. Ferrari with the Spirit of Race 488 GTE #55 and Aston Martin with the Vantage V8 #99 of the Beechdean AMR complete this trio.
After Ferrari the day before, it's the turn of Porsche to sign the reference time in LMGTE with 911 RSR #77 of the Proton Competition.






Qualifying session
Three Oreca 07-Gibson in the first three places led by three French drivers Nicolas Lapierre (DragonSpeed #21), Léo Roussel (G-Drive Racing #22) and Enzo Guibbert (Graff #39) separated by 0 "290 seconds. We then found Matevos Issakyan (Dallara SMP Racing #27) fourth and to complete the top 5 Filipe Albuquerque (LigierJS P217 United Autosports #32).
Ross Kaiser (Ligier JS P3 #6.360 Racing) signed the pole position LMP3 in 2: 02.186, he preceded two other Ligier JS P3 respectively the #15 of the MSport RLR driven by Alex Kapadia and the #18 of the M.Racing - YMR with Alexandre Cougnaud behind the wheel.
Ferrari 488 GTE #55 (Spirit of Race), Porsche 911 RSR #77 (Proton Competition), Ferrari 488 GTE #51 (Spirit of Race) werre the three winners of this qualifying session in LMGTE.










The race


In view of the practice sessions and qualification, we could have expected to see an Oreca 07 on the top step of the podium of these 4 hours of Le Castellet.
It was finally a Dallara P217 which was imposed, in this case the one driven by the Russian duo Matevos Isaakyan and Egor Orudzhev on the #27 of SMP Racing.
It was ahead of Oreca 07 #22 of the G-Drive Racing led by the trio Léo Roussel, Nicolas Minassian and Memo Rojas.
Initially on the third step of the podium the Ligier JS P217 #32 of the United Autosports of Will Owen, Hugo de Sadeleer and Filipe Albuquerque would be penalized for a 30-second penalty for failing to meet the speed of 80 km / h under Full Course Yellow, which made it fall to 5th position.
So it was Oreca 07 #39 of the Graff of Paul Trouillet, Eric Petit and Enzo Guibbert who would inherit the small step of the box.
The fourth place returned to the crew of the Ligier P217 du #23 of the Panis Barthez Competition constitute by Fabien Barthez, Timothé Buret and Nathanaël Berthon.
























The United Autosports would not leave the Var empty, the British structure winning the laurels of victory in LMP3 with the American crew John Falb and Sean Rayhall on the Ligier JS P3 #2.
Inter Europol Competition by Jakub Smiechowski and Martin Hippe on another Ligier JS P3 #13 taking the place of heir apparent in front of M.Racing - YMR and his Ligier JS P3 #18 with at the manoeuvre Alexandre Cougnaud, Antoine Jung and Romano Ricci.


































2nd successive LMGTE win for the Ferrari 488 GTE of Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin and Aaron Scott Spirit of Race # 55 in front of the Aston Martin Vantage GTE #90 of TF Sport of Salih Yoluc, Euan Hankey and Nicki Thiim and the Ferrari 488 GTE #66 of JMW Motorsport of Robert Smith, Jody Fannin and Jonathan Cocker.
