On their marks in the paddocks! The 12th edition of the Dix Mille Tours on the Paul Ricard circuit was run in blazing sunshine and searing heat in which the drivers did battle out on the track.
Once again, it was another great event enjoyed by 15.000 spectators who flocked to the circuit to feast their eyes on the 330 gleaming racing cars and meet up with the drivers all fighting fit after the summer hiatus.
We are now going to pass all the grids present this weekend in the south of France
2.0 L CUP
While the 2.0 L. Cup has a semi-endurance 90-minute format, don’t be fooled as the 2-litre Porsche 911s at the start do battle as if it were a sprint, which leaves the final outcome indecisive right till the very end!

HH : Classic Endurance Racing 1
Classic Endurance Racing 1 echoes one of the most mythical periods in the history of the World Endurance Championship.
The racing seasons culminating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans saw the legendary Ford GT40s take on the Ferrari 330 P4, then the Porsche 917s against the Ferrari 512.
This was the great era of Sports Proto from 1966 to 1971, a category that covered more than half of the starting grids.
In GT, we find the battles between the Porsche 911 RSR and the various Ferrari Daytona Gr. IV and Chevrolet Corvette C3 at the turn of the 70s.

Classic Endurance Racing 2
With full starting grids – around 50 cars including Porsche 935, BMW M1, Lola T70, Ferrari 512 BBLM – and drivers determined to honour the glorious past of their mounts, the show is total!
The success of the CER led to the division of the event into two parts: CER 1 and CER 2.
Since 2004, Classic Endurance Racing echoes a period – 1966 to 1981 – when endurance racing ruled motor sport.
Glorious times of Ford GT40, Porsche 910, Ferrari 512… and their drivers of the time: Jacky Ickx, Henri Pescarolo, Gérard Larrousse… whose playground was not limited to the extraordinary 24 Hours of Le Mans, but extended to the greatest European circuits in the framework of the World Sports Car Championship.
Classic Endurance Racing is much more than a simple historical commemoration.
