Green, green, green !!!
The time has come for the GT World Challenge Europe competitors to resume with two days of driving on Tuesday March 5 and Wednesday March 6 on the Paul Ricard circuit.
If the sun was out, so was the Mistral (fresh wind from the south of France), which made the temperatures rather cool.
53 cars were registered on the entry sheet, representing nine brands, for 4 sessions scheduled over two days of testing.
The Prologue presented the debut of the new Ford Mustang GT3 and Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO as well as the traditional Audi, Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.
The hierarchy seen during this prologue remains unrepresentative, certain teams took advantage of these tests to test drivers for the 2024 season.
In addition, the precise program of each team is difficult to know.
We can just see by reading the timesheets that the No. 60 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO - 2Seas Motorsport leaves the circuit with the absolute best time of the two days of running with a time of 1'52"800.
The other three sessions went to the #32 BMW – Team WRT.
In this report, I will content myself with presenting to you, in photos, the forces present brand by brand.
Some cars competed with different race numbers from one day to the next.
