After two editions held in September, the Tour Auto returns to its more traditional dates, end of April 2022.
The 31st edition will be enlighted by a finish in Principality of Andorra.
In 2022, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ferrari 365 GTB4 Gr.IV’s 1972 double and Jean-Claude Andruet’s victory on the car already nicknamed “Daytona”.
A tribute will also be paid to the “pioneers”, the cars of the major brands that took part in the very first post-war editions, between 1951 and 1954: Delahaye 235, Ferrari, Fiat 8V, Gordini barchettas, Type C Jaguar, Osca, etc.
For my part, I was only present for the penultimate stage, from Bordeau to Pau, on the Paul Armagnac circuit in Nogaro.
I do not despair of following the entirety of the Tour de France auto in the near future.
Before going on the track side, we will wander in the parking lot to see a few vehicles, including a Mini with a two-litre turbo engine in the rear position, an Alpine A110 in its original condition.
Or a Lo Max an English kit based on a 2CV Citroën.

Let us now look at the various protagonists present on the Gersois bitumen.
We will start with the regularity categories composed of two grids.
