Race notes:
Race was started at 2:59:45 p.m. on Jan. 31 and stopped for a total of 3:54:5.784 at aproximately 10:10 a.m. Feb 1. Race was restarted on the basis of the 9:00 a.m. Feb.1 scoring. Race elasped time of 24 hours expired at 2:59:45, Feb.1 and checkered flad was displayed next time the leader crossed the scoring line. The reason was the red-flag was that some teams received fuel contaminated with water from one tanker truck while other teams did not. Due to this issues the race was removed from the World Championship of Makes classfication.
