Race notes:
The race was cancelled after a first lap accident in the 2-litre Touring Car race when an Escort and an BMW collided and flow over the fences and killed 5 spectators and many were badly hurt. After some hours the organisers decided to run only the F3 and the sportscar races with number of starters reduced.
