Race notes:
41 cars appeared at the second round of the FFSA GT Championship at Ledenon on April 17/18. Emmanuel Clerico was on pole for race one in the Paul Belmondo Viper, but Jean-Pierre Jarier was soon through into a lead which he kept until the pit-stops. Francois Lafon couldn't maintain Jarier's pace, so Patrice Goueslard - taking over from Lagniez - came through to the win. Marc Sourd took second place four laps from the end, Michel Maisonneuve and Lafon completing a Porsche 1-2-3-4. Race two was stopped after seven laps when the VBM (in fourth place) caught fire. Maisonneuve resumed in the lead when the race was re-started, but Jarier 'jumped' from ninth to fourth and within two laps was leading the race. He finished well clear of Goueslard and Lagniez, this pair of cars a lap ahead of the rest.
